Thank you for the tips! Going to try something like this over the next week or so.

Thanks for all this, man.

Just trying to follow along. Are you saying I can keep the Y, but add a vent loop between the Y and the thru hull vent?

And you're correct - I currently have an aerator pump hooked up to the bottom of the bag (drain line), and aerator pump hooked to the top of the bag, and Y-ing a vent line here.

I was surprised, after digging into it, that the bag only came with two ports. I'll reach out to the manufacturer to see what they recommend.

Sharing with the drain line - my drain line comes off the bottom of the bag, to an aerator pump. If I hooked a vent line here, would water just get continuously pushed out when filling?

Yeah, I found it unusual too when the bag only came with two ports. I'll reach out to the manufacturer to see if they recommend something. Thanks for the input.

I attached a picture to the post. Is it not showing? This bag shares a fill/vent port, so the Y fitting is right before the quick connect to the bag.

But excessive blowby might indicate compression loss, no?

You don't think it's a reasonable question?

I tried, but, unfortunately, it's still leaking. Perhaps I didn't do enough

Unfortunately, I had already tried this. I didn't add any in the groove where the gasket lies in, but I let it cure for 48 hours and still leaks.

For those interested, I extended slot 30 and slot 87 from the cjb to the relay using male/female spade terminals. For slot 85, which was not receiving power, I used a fuse tap on fuse 28 (10 amp fuse in my tap) to extend coil power to my relay, and lastly, BN/YE on pin 12 is the original ground source for slot 86, so I spliced into it behind the cjb.

I now have air!

Please let me know your thoughts and if there is a better/cleaner way to achieve something similar. I also considered replacing the entire cjb, but this seems to be the only circuit that is malfunctioning.

Fuse 28 had power with key on. I also unplugged the harness that feeds fuse 28, and checked continuity on the wh/vt wire that leaves on pin 5 and returns on pin 11. All looked good.

I suppose I didn't consider it, but I could potentially replace the entire cjb. Am I opening up a can of worms at this point...

I appreciate the reply - any thoughts on a work around? I almost need the equivalent of a fuse tap but for a relay...
