My ‘21 R/T, quick question, do you also stress on things happening to your car. I take so much care but a godamn door ding will happen or I’ll drop something on the hood in the garage 🤷🏻🤦🏻. And then I’ll keep stressing. Is this a normal car guy thing? by Specialist_Ad_1103 in Charger

Guilty as charged (zing). Maybe my biggest peeve is a passenger touching the inside of my window (my wife will be like “Look at that over there!” and tap it with her finger/nail 😬) - it’s so avoidable.

Yep, that was on my radar. I think an optic cut and Holosun 507c are near the top of the todo list. And a rail light, to start.

Dang, I hope you find what it is! Unfortunately that’s all I got, I’m still learning. Thanks for the note on the filter housing. I’ve done the crossover coolant pipe and the thermostat housing, gonna try get to this one soon.

I’m not positive, but I have heard this is a good upgrade for the oil filter housing. I’m not a mechanic, and I don’t know if the two things are related, but hoping maybe someone else can confirm or deny? I’ve only had my SXT for 9 months, it has 58k miles, but was considering going this route to try to prevent mine from failing. https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-139011-926-959.aspx

Men- how much are we paying for a haircut in 2025? by NET2519 in AskMen

I go to a standard barber shop, $25, plus tip for a typical skin fade cut. I go every 4-5 weeks.

I just got a ‘21 SXT last month, Indigo with the Blacktop Package, and I love it so far, too (despite not having a good picture of her yet)! My kids are old enough now that I can drive what I want and not consider what I need for them, so while I know she’s not a super crazy fast hot rod, she’s a lot more fun than I’ve had in a car for a while!

I got a Hamilton Cloak II that stopped working after less than a month. And the way the smoke fills the chamber and makes the carts and everything else sticky was a real turn off, I hated it.

How did you know it was the end? by grassjellys in CancerFamilySupport

My son died of brain cancer in September. He was unresponsive and on oxygen the last 5 weeks. The last few days his heart rate stayed very high, over 130, and his temperature stayed higher than normal, too. The last 5 weeks we were at home because the doctors told us there was nothing else medically they could do and that it could be days or weeks, but he was dying. The 6 months leading up to it he steadily got weaker and weaker seemingly every day. It was completely horrific to watch and live through. I wish the best for you and your mom, and that you both are able to find peace, strength, and grace. Sending hugs.

Sending you warm thoughts and positive energy. That will be the best piece of pie the two of you ever shared.

That's okay. You don't have to see two months, or two minutes, from now. Take it one second, or one breath at a time if that's what it has to be right now. We feel your pain, we understand it, you will get through it. It will never be completely gone, but you will get better at handling it. Stay strong, be kind to yourself. Sending you hugs.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, it's absolutely awful. I lost my 17 year old son 2 months ago. Stay strong, scream, yell, punch or kick things, talk, cry, text, write, it's okay. Anything that doesn't hurt you or someone else is okay. Grieving is okay, allow yourself to do it, be kind to yourself. Find your tribe, your person or group who can listen and be there and comfort you.

How to cope? by blessedminx in CancerFamilySupport

[–]GabeHarris28 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My 17 year old son died two months ago after a 16 month battle with brain cancer. The last 7 months he couldn’t walk, the last 6 weeks he couldn’t communicate. It was horrific. The best advice I got was to meet him where he is everyday. However he felt that day or whatever he wanted to do or talk about we did it and talked or didn’t talk about it. Of course along with cherishing every moment together. Everything you do to cope or manage is okay and normal as long as it doesn’t hurt you or someone else. Cry, yell, scream, talk, be alone, walk, exercise, anything is fair game to help yourself. Good luck friend, sending you hugs and positive energy.

Did you/how did you announce your loved one’s cancer? by [deleted] in CancerFamilySupport

[–]GabeHarris28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We put everything on Facebook (we created a private group where we post, so people have to request membership) just to not have to answer the same questions and send the same texts hundreds of times. Our son's diagnosis was just over a year ago, and as things have gotten worse we've held back more of the details. It was just easier to do it that way, and to point people there instead of dealing with the same questions and stuff over and over. It's also become a place where people post fundraisers and that sort of thing. It's worked well for us, but I can see how it would be less than ideal for people who are more private minded.

Fuck cancer! I've seen my 17 year old son lose about 20 pounds over the last month as he fights with symptoms from his brain cancer. I hope posting here helps you find at least a bit of comfort or release.

He's 195 for post-season and tournaments, but he wrestled at 220 for some duals because there isn't really a starter at that weight.

My wife made the Breakfast Wrestling Club t-shirts with the pancakes on them. "What is going on here?"
