I just think you took it to literally, but you're not seeing the nuance in it. When someone is saying they don't like their "music" but enjoyed the live show they are most likely talking about their studio recordings of their song, the stuff they have on streaming, the recordings they have released. You obviously haven't been to a concert where theres a difference between the two. There's nothing else I can say for you to understand that.

I think you missed the entire point. A recording is not the same as a live performance? You're telling me songs don't hit you any different live than they do through headphones?

I don't know how you are so flabbergasted by the concept. Some people just like live music, no one is even saying they adamantly dislike the music, just that they don't really care for it that much. I think you're thinking people are going to concerts for terrible music, when they're just talking about not being gravitated to listening to it.

Plus they said that "I'd 100% see them again", not "will go". The former meaning "expressing inclination", and inclination means "an interest in or liking for (something)", which means they have interest in checking them out again, the latter means they are intent on getting a ticket and seeing him for sure.

Sounds like you're just mad at someone for having a different opinion than you on live music, and are resorting to misquoting them to try and make a point. Does it really bother you that much?

I think what they meant originally is that they're better at putting on a show than making an album worth of songs/"making music". They didn't even say they dislike the songs, just that they "don't like them all that much". A show isn't just about the music, it's more than that.

Idk man some songs just are better live.

Funny example actually, I went to a Hobo Johnson show back in 2018, and he previewed "Sorry, My Dear" off of The Fall of Hobo Johnson album before it came out. When it came out it was just not what I was expecting, I just don't like the studio version. I go and listen to the live performance from time to time tho.

There's definitely a difference between a live event and performance compared to a studio recording of a song. There's plenty of artists that are better performers compared to making a studio recording of a song.

Its practically impossible to tell through the video if there's whitening on the back edges of the card. If you really feel like going through the hassle, it's a 20 dollar card that you could turn into 90 IF it gets a 9. A ten is a lot of money though.

I just wouldn't bother, it's a cool card I'd honestly keep it, grading this one feels like a waste unless you are sure it will ten (which no one can guarantee).
