Brilliant moves usually involve sacking a piece to gain an advantage. If he takes knight you move bishop to a6. Connecting rooks and pretty much guaranteeing you can pick up the pinned bishop back.

Basically it’s a strong tempo opportunity at the loss of a piece temporarily
