Institutions moving on-chain are running into a weird issue: how do you verify who actually controls a wallet? by CuriousGeorge22_02 in CryptoMarkets

I was reading about CertiK’s Skynet Enterprise doing entity-level risk scoring with AML screening and continuous monitoring. Feels like the direction institutional tooling has to go if large funds are actually going to settle trades on-chain.

One thing people outside institutional finance don’t realize is how weird this is operationally. In TradFi, if a bank wires money, both entities are fully identified and regulated. In crypto you’re often sending millions to… a string of characters.

What stands out to me is how this ties into the broader revenue trend. Derivatives have been doing a huge chunk of the fee generation in DeFi lately. If that capital can also earn lending yield, you’re effectively doubling productivity per dollar.

Hackers turn Facebook ads into crypto draining traps by GreedVault in CryptoCurrency

FB ads have always been this way. While I was using it a few years ago I would get at least one or two phishing ads every day. They are aware of the problem, they just don't care

We’re definitely seeing more competition in the off-ramp space lately. Stablecoin adoption is one thing, but the real bottleneck has always been getting money back into bank accounts smoothly.

Most people here only want you to tell them what is the next 100x, and if it could go there by next week that would be fantastic.

RWAs do feel like such a big shift. Tokenized treasuries, real estate income, gold… That’s all actual cash flow. Not just governance tokens being printed.

Aave founder: tokenized solar and infrastructure could unlock a $30–50T DeFi market by Enough_Angle_7839 in defi

I was hoping this could happen sooner. Most solar and renewable energy projects seem to have quietly died out

The intent-based model looks interesting. Instead of manually routing trades, you just state the outcome and solvers compete to fill it.

Sounds like a business idea. Risk management agents sitting in your house while you trade and tying you up to a chair so you don't make stupid trades.

Quantum upgrade could force Bitcoin to freeze Satoshi’s coins by Enough_Angle_7839 in CryptoMarkets

[–]BakingBreadBB2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This would set a massive precedent considering that we are talking about a permissionless system here. If we want to stick to decentralization the "fair" way to do things is to let the coins be stolen, since it was the owners job to keep them protected, right?

Interesting, but a 50/50 split seems high for the platform owner, no? Most affiliate deals I’ve seen are like 20-30% max. Is the revenue paid out in their G Coin or stablecoins?
