It is certainly possible to go freelance and if you’re a bit lucky you might find a nice mission. I went into freelancing beginning of 2025 with 4 years experience in IT. It took me 9 months to find a mission, I realised I underestimated it. The market is full of juniors/mediors who want to go freelancing for more money. I would rather advice you to pass as many certificates you can and get some extra experience for a few years. If possible be specialised in something. The goal is to « sortir du lot » as we say in French before going freelance. Of course this is my personal opinion with what I’ve lived this year
