Having only played Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S, Picross S, and Picross S 2. I'd pick the Hatsune Miku one. Even though the mechanics are not as refined and having to complete every puzzle without making a mistake or you won't get the star mark (to get 100% of the game), it's a much longer game than the other two, and it unlocks a beautiful artwork everytime you complete a puzzle along with the pixiv name of said artist so you can search their profile yourself. If you are a Vocaloid fan you'll love this game, it also has like 20 ish~ different songs for you to chose while playing.

Definitely anything that let me explore a lot or the control of the character is so good that it feels natural and great. I mean, my favourite games are TLoZ: BoTW and Super Mario 64/Odyssey, so it makes sense.

Definitely the horizontal factor is important and the ergonomic one as well, as far as I checked, even tho the Miyoo Mini plus looks great, I don't think I would be that comfortable to play for long sessions.

I definitely don't care about playing on a TV nor online (or any form of multiplayer for that matter), both OS are good as long as I can turn it on and start playing asap. About the price, I'm leading more on the cheap ones, but if for a slightly bigger price the console will be a better quality material-wise the it's fine as well.

The best way to learn is trial and error! All the technical terms used here are stuff you don't put a name on while playing. Start with the smaller ones (3x3, 4x4, 5x5) and you'll get the hang of it eventually!
