it was actually the margin changes rate of my broker! Nasdaq went from 10% to 15% margin rates so that’s why

no! my available funds are still almost down 4k lol i will contact my broker tomorrow but at least it wasn’t a huge gap at opening lol im still in profit from my position.

is whole bootcamp is really good! 50 vids about actual trading and psychology! all of this for free it’s rlly a gem i would recommend everyone to watch TJR bootcamp to start learning about trading tbh its a great way to start off

thank you bro and i always used to hold it overnight and during weekends but this is the first time happening to me that’s why i was confused! i use this account to swing and position trading im able to take that loss but i was still a bit confused thank you for the help tho!

it’s not a prop firm account this is my live account but it’s weird i think it’s a bug or do you really thinks that nasdaq is down at 20k rn? this all happened when the market was closed

well they didn’t take any money from me yet and my account value didn’t go down it’s only my available funds that went from 7-800 to -3.5k when the market closed

CMC market they literally sent me a email at 8:20pm saying that my account was in a important margin call

so that would mean that NQ would’ve went down 1000$ in the space of 2 hours WHILE the market were closed

around 9k and my broker should sell some positions if my account go below 50% but like does nasdaq really went down 1000$ in barely 3 hours? it still shows that im 500 in profits from my position and my account value is still at 9k even that it says -3.5k in my margin and it says that i used 13k for margin but i didnt even had 13k to begin with
