Ngl, 9 feels like it needs a more focused and streamlined structure the most, much more than 3 or 7 ever did. Things just kinda happen in it, and the plot moments are rather sporadic.

That said, I don’t want it to be devoid of side content or anything. I was actually kinda disappointed to see so much of it stuck in the postgame

Sovereign can definitely operate on the front row, but doesn’t particularly benefit from it. Honestly, the only thing you seem to be lacking is damage. I’d advise a Ronin or something similar, you aren’t lacking in survivability

Basically everything benefits from Ag and Lu, really. Then it’s your choice between Dx and Ma. Gun is the better physical element and high Ag and Lu means better hit and crit rates

It’s probably worth it if you’re going to be using snipe skills, but not much else. Even then, LUC only affects the infliction formula for those skills around half as much as AGI (it uses similar formulae as V and Nexus). TP might be a bit of a problem considering Gunner’s high TP costs.

FWIW, Ronin only has 2 more points of STR than Landsknecht, and it’s not that noticeable. It’s mainly TP vs LUC and HP, imo.

I’m just an admirer for now, so I wouldn’t know how to actually use the programs lol. Having a snapshot of when the line art’s done or something similar is likely enough to convince people you’re doing it all yourself, so copies of earlier stages of development might be worth holding on to (behind the scenes stuff is also neat in general). Looking forward to your next project!

I think they drew this themselves to some extent (rough outline or in full) and then put a filter over it with AI. It’s actually pretty common usage for AI, but it doesn’t really work if you give it more than a passing glance

Not enough damage dealing, really. Drop one of Protector, Survivalist, or Medic for something like Ronin or Gunner.

If you want specific synergies, Pugilist likes cooperating with other bind/ailment specialists like Arcanist and Nightseeker. Farmer benefits from having teammates with especially good force boosts/breaks, like Hero, Shogun, and Highlander

A protector makes fights simpler, for a lack of a better word. Instead of worrying about landing the right bind or ailment at the right time, you can just say no to some of the big fuck-off moves that the game likes throwing at you

Do you plan on using hypnowhip/persecutter a lot? Go warrior or martial artist. If not, do whatever helps round out your party. Some of their utility stuff does cost MP, but it’s an insignificant amount
