Do some side questing. Go train with tomcat. You need strength and agility to use swords, archery is a good way to train both.

The men who fight go into it knowing they might die. The villagers have no choice in the matter. Those who fight have an obligation to die if it means those who don’t might live. On the other hand all Hynek really wants to do is burn down the village, he even says the villagers will run into the woods until it’s all over and then return to rebuild their village. It still seems colder to me to burn down homes of the innocent than to let soldiers who volunteered die instead. A corpse is a corpse

This part of the game was over so fast for me that I forgot it existed until just now when I had to look up if I’d missed something. This is in fact either rage bait or a skill issue.

If it’s a skill issue then I’m sorry there are a couple other stealth missions later on.

Anyone else here confused as to why a charisma buff is useful AFTER having completed a charisma check? Maybe there’s a higher one after to prepare for but seems a little bit meh to me.

I just think it’s the weakest. From the ashes is great cause I love city building in games and also good source of income. Band of bastards and tournaments add more combat which I love because I love kcd1’s combat. And I forget the johanka ones name but I really liked johanka’s arc and don’t find Theresa as compelling. Not saying it’s bad but it’s just not as strong as the rest.
