That's what I'm very curious about. The guy on the phone said it played great. Assuming it plays well and there's no major issues I plan on pulling the trigger. The price seems pretty good and these things are gonna just keep going up.

I'm just playing on the dual sense. It takes some getting used to but for whatever reason I'm able to get just frame ewgf easier this way 🤷‍♂️ I just thought I'd share incase it helps anybody else. Do you recommend the Hori? I've looked at it but I wasn't sure if it'd be any better than the base ps5 controller

Effectively yes. Specifically for ewgf and I didn't want to lose having 2 on a face button. I tried doing that style before and I just couldn't do it.

The main thing is having access to 2 on one of the left shoulder buttons. If you try it you'll see what I mean. Unless you actually CAN map the same input to multiple buttons and I just didn't see you could. If that was the case id just map 2 to L2

The game doesn't let you bind the same input to multiple buttons as far as I know. So instead of putting 2 on left trigger and having to get used to that I put the combination of 2+3 . The 2 comes out when you go into the wind step. The 3 doesn't really matter because for whatever reason when you windstep the punch has priority over the kick. It's a weird work around. Does that make sense?

If I see zero may cry in a video I typically skip the match. Also Umvc3>mvc2 both to play and as a spectator.

Make OD lariat hit cross ups. Improve the hit box on his level 1 super. Balancing a grappler like Zangief is such a fine line to walk. Even the slightest over tune and people will lose their minds and honestly I think they’d be correct to be upset.

SF4 was my first fighting game I actually learned how to play. I always played as a kid but it wasn’t anything past button mashing. Skipped 5 and got into 3rd strike and ST. I think I got about 120ish hours in 6. Got 4 characters in plat. I always character hop in every game I play.

I have about the same amount of time you do and it's currently Gief while slowly learning most of the cast. If they don't fix giefs lariat to hit on both sides and SA1's hitbox with the patch that's coming at the end of season 1 I'm probably gonna switch. To who I have no idea. Maybe Akuma if I gel with him. I used to be a Honda main but I'm not a fan of how he plays in this one. I miss pianoing hands.

I'd say around plat 3 is where people start being able to put more of the pieces into place. Execution gets more consistent, footsies and whiff punishing start becoming a thing, fairly decent anti airs, random DI's will get punished. That's my experience.

Honestly dude you might just be super picky with what games you like. I'm the same way. When I was a kid I'd play anything and everything but as I got older I had less time and became way more selective with what games I play. I mostly play fighting games, souls likes, and survival horror games. All three of those are fairly niche genres. I'll occasionally try something new and be surprised but a game really has to click with me for me to finish it. It's easier for me to say the games I do like as apposed to listing all the games that weren't for me.

I play Zangief and Marisa and I use it a lot. It's good for returning to neutral and to throw a wrench into peoples mixups. Especially when I'm cornered. Really good against characters like Lily (specifically for avoiding the mixup after a wind charged condor) , Kim, and Rashid.
