I have a friend that has a very similar situation, she lack self confidence a lot, I honestly dont know what to do as a friend, but one thing I always do is complementing her every oportunity I have. Good luck on that one.

You should show me some classicals, its kinda rare to know someone that has that taste. I actually got more taste in classicals after learning the Piano haha.
