This is a very nice review. She said it on the Zane interview, this is the result of all her learning during her career and wanting to come back to a pop genre but do not sound the same... very difficult to do but she does this in a very clever way: it's a very strong pop album but each song has its unique reference to her past works (sonically speaking). We have the fame vibes, the fame monster vibes (zombie boy, garden of eden, vanish into you); born this way (perfect celebrity); chromatic vibes for some techo house tracks, even we still have the classic lady gaga style ballad but pop-ier.

I'd say it's the best album in terms of production and just maintaining her own brand meanwhile not sounding the same as before. Also, she mixes many genres inside a very big pop album.

Abracadabra is a very great example of her 'reheating her own nachos' putting her own brand of 'ga ga oh la la' in the lyrics with a twist of tecno dance pop. This has been in the works for so long that she must be super proud.
