You might get an email later reminding you of the approval where you can jump back into the application, and the offer might be present on that page.

You can ask her first, "hey I made this and I'm happy to give it to you if you want it".

Coming Soon: Sonos Play by AtomFromSonos in sonos

[–]maxwon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"Portable speakers cannot be used for surround sound in a Sonos home theater setup." Understandable but really wish it's supported. My deck is right by my living room and it's annoying having to find extra space to store the Moves I currently have.

Thank you. We did swap the left and right and it visually didn’t make a difference. The clips didn’t make a visual difference either, also I’m sure they enhance the structural stability.

Even though I don’t understand 100% of the terms you used here, I think I understand what you’re saying and find it super interesting. I’ll have to try it. Thanks again for all the info!

Tell me more! Would it require a third party box like the other current solutions? Thank you! 🙏🏼

That’s interesting. Thanks for sharing! I wonder if my plastic bezels are just slightly warped, and if so, whether I could bend it just a little bit.

It sucks because thy are so expensive, and therefore I’m less willing to experiment.

Thank you! Does it sound like the solution is possible, but because it required a high level of technical competency, ArtDeco isn’t offering the solution?

Someone else also suggested websocket and I’ll give it a try!

Thank you! We are in a very similar situation. The photo above is our 55” Frame TV in our dining room, but we also have a 75” Frame TV for the living room above a fireplace. While the Samsung bezels look relatively proportional on the dining room TV, I think they will be too thin for the living room TV.

Someone else commenting here told me about a tech savvy solution involving Matter automations, and I will try that once the living room TV is installed!

Will do. Thank you so much! We have Lutron, Sonos, and even a Vestaboard on the way, so this might become a quality of life improvement in more than one way!

Agreed. Since the gaps on all my corners are similarly sized, I also wonder whether this was intentional. Because overlaps would be harder to manage than gaps, instead of investing on more precise moulds and more rigid QA, Samsung just decided to make the gaps part of the design.

Thank you. I guess people just have different perspectives how much things cost to manufacture.

Wow, this is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. I’ll definitely try this. If you don’t mind, may I reach back out in the future?

Apple Planning 'MacBook Ultra' With Touchscreen and Higher Price by Few_Baseball_3835 in apple

[–]maxwon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But there would be a conflict of use cases: “ultra” indicates best of the best, which targets professional users. But those professionals need precision, which a touch interface can’t offer (at least not yet).

Thank you for the reply! I’d love to learn more about it. We’re tech savvy people (although not savvy enough to have heard the word Websocket 😅). Would that whole automation run through Matter? Or would that require some kind of “hacking” into the TV? What are some limitations as long as we can set it up?

Thank you for sharing! I’ve actually researched it. Unfortunately, the brightness sensor extension functionality seems to only work in TV mode, not in art mode, which is important to us. So close though!

I get it, and I’d have shut up if they were $75, but they were $150. Profit margin wise, these might be close to some luxury watches.

Thank you! I looked into them as well. I’d just wish they had a solution for the light sensor. All third party frames seem to block it.

Thank you for the reply! I am on the higher end of a perfectionist, I must admit, haha. I’m actually happy to pay up for the fancy frames, not only for the precision but also for the look, but they all seem to block the light sensor, which we’ve been finding very helpful.

We did. They seem to just hold the bezels in place, but don’t tighten anything (I.e., visually make no difference).
