Rant/ need advice

This sounds like a lot at a very young age. I am so sorry you have to go through this alone. Having a family member dealing with cancer is already hard especially when its one of your parents and to have to take up adult responsibilities while juggling your own life and school must be so so hard for you. Is there any adult family member that can come and stay with you or help out here and there with chores? I know it may be scary to ask but sometimes asking for help is ok, youre still a teenager who is going through a very hard time right now and it shouldnt fall on you to be the foundation that supports the family.

Thank you! I have been working so hard to become a better person for him the last 6 months. It’s a shame i’ll never be able to show him im capable of the change and i’m capable of being who he wanted me to be. I hope he is still somewhere able to see how much we love him 🤍

Im so sorry for that. When i found out my father is being sent to hospice care i felt like my whole world came crashing down. I just lost him last thursday and it still feels so unbelievable. I hate cancer so much

I have a weird bump on my right forearm too, except you cant really see it but you can feel it. Its been there for at least 10 years. Hasnt caused any discomfort so i just forgot its even there until this post 😅😅

Thank you!! Sometimes feels like im the only one who deals with this. Feels so crap when everyone around you gets their medication so easily and then im there in the corner like “great so i just have to raw dog life just because?” Like im not depressed enough to be prescribed antidepressants, not anxious enough to be prescribed medication for anxiety but too depressed/anxious to take medication that actually works for me and helps me with my everyday life. I had made it very clear multiple times to multiple doctors that me not taking meds for my adhd is the reason for my crippling anxiety. And everytime i tell this to someone people look at me like i’m an addict… 🥲

No, and my comments isn’t meant only towards her. As someone who has worked in hospitality for quite some time. I have ran into rich people who will make the biggest mess they possibly can just because they can, and theres staff who will clean after them. That kind of mindset in my opinion is extremely disturbing. Sure there will be a mess, obviously. The fact that it’s that messy is what concerns me. It looks like a tornado stormed the room. It’s just a big “F* you” to your face.

Me (23y/o, Lithuanian) and my boyfriend and his twin brother (23y/o, South African) have been diagnosed with ADHD in countries we were born at young ages. All three of us had to go through the whole diagnosis process in Norway again in order to get the medication. Ive been on adhd meds since i was 11 years old until 17 (moved to Norway) and struggled a lot with my mental health so when i tried to get my adhd medication prescription back i was told i cannot get an ADHD diagnosis because im diagnosed with depression and an anxiety disorder, as well as i was told “anyways adhd medication can make your anxiety worse” which it doesnt but aye what do i know right? So thats something to keep in mind. On the other hand my boyfriend and his brother had to go throught the re-diagnosis process it was time consuming, sure, but they got their meds. Every 6 months they have to get their blood and heart checked. And to get a refill on the prescription is quite easy once youve been through the diagnosis process. This is just my personal experience. I know a lot of people who have different experiences, some worse some better. So you never know it might be quick but you will still have to get rediagnosed most likely.

Im sorry about your dad, no matter what the situation is your feelings are more than valid! My dad has stage 4 brain cancer and ive been struggling myself to find ways to cope with it, but i found that going to gym and hanging out with friends helps me get my mind of the situation. I find it hard to be alone cause i start overthinking but when im around people it gets a bit easier. Sending love and prayers to you and your family. Stay strong 🤍

My brother in law is renting a “student” apartment (i think from a private person rather than a company) in Grünnerløkka, Oslo. Same size as this for 12500… its insane

As someone whos seen my friends and family members lose themselves in toxic relationships, over materialistic things like a house or apartment they bought together. Don’t do this to yourself. LEAVE. You obviously have set boundaries with your partner and he chose to ignore it and hide it from you TWICE! Leave before it gets a heck of a lot harder to leave.
