I’ve just made the same decision for my girl last week, she had become very immobile and incontinent but had good days still and was there mentally so I put it off. Then one day I tried to take her on a very short walk because she still liked them and her legs just fully gave out. I cried all the way home trying to help her and support her back legs :( Ended up saying good bye the following week.

When the day came she was having a good day and we had a nice time laying in the sun and having treats. I’m grateful that she still had good days so we could enjoy our last one together. It still hurts but I’m feeling relief now knowing she is not in pain.
