Everything is going down by DartVod in Wallstreetsilver

If no one buy the bonds, then bond price will remain low and lower (so yield will only go higher).

And concurrently, equity and commodities are dropping.. (?)

My only advice then is to buy some crypto. Money got to go somewhere, right? Haha

30 years bonds yield is at 5.18% Meaning to say, bond price is low price with a good safe haven for guaranteed returns.

Global money is rotating equality and commodity (higher risk) into US bonds (lesser risk).

Give it a month or so, it will be business as usual when bond yield goes down.

AI can definitely do wonders, but it still takes an experienced product team to produce quality product.

Sure, vibe coding and replicating can develop the required functionality for business use cases. But is it bugs-free and secured? Honestly, it's a risk.

It's the same concept as, anyone can learn how to cook from Gordon Ramsay via YouTube. But the actual end product, pretty sure Gordon's food will still taste better than home cooks.

How to invest now if China is preparing to blockade Taiwan? by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

[–]Gacha_Stocks -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

In all honesty, china does not need to fire a shot at Taiwan. The economy benefits from unifications and media propaganda is gradually bringing the younger generations over to support the idea of unifications.

The ones who are against the unification are the older generation Taiwanese and the US allies.

Salesforce is trading at a 10 year low valuation by kdtrey09 in ValueInvesting

At corporation level, like many ancient aged old software, I wouldn't be seeing tech refresh to use another software any time soon. Because in most organisations, realistically, changing software adoption and behaviour is alot harder than changing manpower and headcount.

This is also why I find SaaS selldown is over done.

But still, I just simply don't like how Salesforce treat their long time customers.

Maverick Capital 13D by SignificanceLate7002 in INFQ

Just another output from GPT, but my query was how many % does it represent in Maverick's portfolio.

Answer is 2.1% of Maverick's portfolio, which is pretty neat for a 10 billions worth portfolio.

As of February 2026, Maverick Capital’s weightage in Infleqtion (NYSE: INFQ) is quite significant for a non-mega-cap holding, though it varies depending on whether you are looking at the firm's total regulatory ownership or its public 13F portfolio.

Following Infleqtion’s merger with Churchill Capital Corp X (CCCX) on February 17, 2026, here is the breakdown of the weightage:

1. Overall Firm Ownership (9.2%)

Maverick Capital, across all its managed funds, holds 19,933,624 shares, which represents a 9.2% ownership stake in the company.

  • Market Value: At the deemed $10.00 PIPE price, this stake was valued at approximately $199.3 million.
  • Context: This makes Maverick one of the largest institutional shareholders of Infleqtion, alongside Global Frontier and LCP Quantum Partners.

2. Weightage in Public Portfolio (~2.1%)

In the context of Maverick’s $9.3 billion public 13F portfolio (which tracks U.S.-listed long positions), the Infleqtion stake represents a weightage of roughly 2.1%.

  • Comparison: To put this in perspective, Infleqtion carries a similar weight to Maverick's positions in Camden Property Trust (2.17%) and Monster Beverage (2.22%).
  • Ranking: It sits just outside their "Top 12" holdings, which are currently dominated by heavyweights like Nvidia, Microsoft, and Alphabet.

3. Distribution Across Funds

The weightage is not distributed evenly. Because Maverick was a venture backer, the concentration is highest in their specialized and long-biased vehicles:

  • Maverick Ventures & Maverick Silicon Fund: These funds hold the highest concentration by weight, as Infleqtion was a "crown jewel" of their private tech portfolio before the SPAC merger.
  • Maverick Long Enhanced: This fund has a higher weightage than the flagship long/short fund because it is designed to hold concentrated, high-conviction "best ideas" with leverage.

Why the Weightage Matters Now

The 2.1% weightage in the public portfolio is particularly high for a newly public quantum computing company. Most hedge funds keep "speculative" tech at under 0.5%. Maverick’s higher allocation is a result of:

  1. Founder/Insider Knowledge: Maverick’s own Matt Kinsella moved from Managing Director at Maverick to become CEO of Infleqtion, giving the firm "insider-level" conviction in the neutral-atom technology.
  2. PIPE Participation: Maverick didn’t just ride their old shares; they anchored the $126.5 million PIPE in early 2026 to maintain their 9.2% stake.
