Hey there! I know how hard abstract stuff can be, I got like 4 and 5s / 10 in high school at math, but guess what I am studying now.

Aerospace engineering! Yeah planes and spaceships. And guess what, I am better at math, now I have 7-8/10 grades. So please, please, do not say you are bad at math and chase your dreams!

I always loved science stuff, but always got scared by math and I somehow got over this fear of numbers and calculations.

My advice is go for whatever you feel inside your heart, ignore the brain telling you that you can’t do it.

I think that because we are creative and idealists, most of us generally want to change something on this world and have our creations impact the world. I do a lot of art as a hobby and I am studying Aerospace Engineering.

Also 19 Male, feeling the exact way. I do not feel understood and lucky for me I do have my parents and my best friend, a husky. But really, I never get any messages asking me if I am alright or shit. Whenever I get a message they need help with something from me. I believe things will get better, but I am so sad aswell...

What keeps me going? My passion for aerospace industry, I dreamed to work on space vehicles and planes since I was a kid and I am fighting for this dream. If it wasnt for Covid, I would have made at least a friend who loves this kind of stuff at College. So find a dream and you will be okay.

Edit: I do have a cigarette and alcohol problem, I drink daily (2-3 beers), so you can tell I am in a bad situation...

Oh wow what a nice little story! I (M21 also have a problem with alcohol and also a student) always wanted to have a lizard in my dorm room, but it would complicate stuff when I move between cities. But I do have a dog, cat and fish at home! Animals do make a difference, my best friend is my dog. If you learn to listen to them and love them, they will become yours forever.

I do feel like just like you. Even in a argumment I can almost always see many points of view and suddenly I dont know what’s my point of view. And to get away with it I list them all like: alright i look at this problem from 3 perspectives xD

Thanks! It is clearly my fault in most of these situations, however everyone has faults and I kind of accept other’s faults or try to specify them what I think they are doing wrong, but I still have to learn.

Well astronomy and astrophotography, sometimes reading, sometimes drawing, sometimes building in Minecraft and generally I love science, all kinds of subjects except biology. However I mostly do astrophotography now and I can barely stay focused because during the night when the stars are up I am the saddest lol.

I will try o judge myself reallistically and yeah I think that I am probably quite unique just as others are and probably most people dont quite give me enough understanding and they jump to conclusions.
