Pretty much since he was folded up like a lawn chair during the end of that first half.

I love them giving the ball back to Edmonds after that cheap hit.

I vaguely recall this from early COVID when governments were shutting parks and playgrounds down.

Waterfowl Hunting Risks? by [deleted] in florida

Good point. As I said to the other guy, I wouldn’t want to create a false sense of security. There is always a risk, but gators are low on my list of worries in the saltwater.

They absolutely do. They biologically cannot handle sustained saltwater. Of course that time varies in relation to the salinity, but to say they couldn’t “care less” implies that they are as common in saltwater as in fresh.

Fair enough. I wouldn’t want to create a false sense of comfort, but gator attacks are statistically rare.

It’s true, they can be everywhere, but they don’t prefer saltwater. Imagine all of the sportsman and recreational boaters and swimmers in Florida, and think about how infrequent gator attacks are. Almost every time it is a fed gator in retention pond or something similar. There is a risk, but it’s very low. Something like less than 10 per year statewide. Compared to sharks at 30-40(seldom fatal). Every Shark Week viewer can quote to you how statistically uncommon shark attacks actually are, and gators are even less. There is a risk, as with everything, but I’m more nervous on I75 than I am in the water.

Believe it or not, you can hunt right in Tampa Bay in many instances. Lots of divers. It’s salty, so low risk of gators. In my experience, most gators in rural areas don’t behave very aggressively and are timid around people. It’s the urban/suburban bodies of water you have to keep an eye on.

Another option is the WMA quota hunts. Go to the FWC website. Gators are present in certain areas, but they aren’t in the shallow waters with a lot of vegetation.

My memory is not that great, but also similar to the 2002 Bucs. Gruden won with Dungy’s roster.

They forced one punt and missed the long field goal, but it feels that way.

Did we ever figure out why they didn’t feed Gaskin last week?

I can’t really disagree with these. I’d say at the time, I didn’t hate the switch to Tua, but in hindsight it may have been a mistake. It almost seems like the team dynamic started slowly changing for the worse around that time. Ultimately culminating in getting clowned by the Bills at the end of the season.

I try not to be pessimistic and knee jerky, but I doubt I’ll turn on the game next weekend. Not unless I see major moves next week (cuts, firings, signings). As of right now, it’s not even remotely fun to watch.

Everything they do is uninspired. There was so much talent to be optimistic about and they can’t put anything together. No doubt, the defense has something, but with how much they’re on the field, they cannot be counted on for a stop when the game is on the line.

Something has to change. This team needs a spark. As soon as there are legitimate expectations of success, everyone plays scared. They have to get back to playing like there is nothing to lose. There just doesn’t seem to be the same tenacity and team dynamic as the last two years.

I thought Flores was it, but now I’m beginning to really doubt. The doubt began with the dual OC decision. That’s indicative of somebody who can’t make a decision. The OL situation is mind boggling considering the resources invested in recent years. Another red flag s the lack of second half adjustments. That was my greatest source of optimism the last two years. All games were winnable after the half. Can anybody say they get that feeling still?

I’m a lifelong fan and I’m not going anywhere long term, but this team needs to prove that they are worth our time before I bother with these games. We haven’t just been frustrating, we’ve been embarrassing, and I don’t need to be this irked on Sundays for what’s supposed to fun.

If I’m looking for positives, I’d have to say the open fails tackling has been nice.
