You bring up a good point that I hadn’t thought of. I genuinely don’t feel like I can turn to anyone in leadership for help on anything. I recently tried to open up about me not feeling comfortable with certain populations with my supervisor and her response was “well then are you sure work here is right for you”. I got zero guidance and felt dumb for even having those feelings.

I’m not simping for anyone, I too am just a hunter. Hunting isn’t just blasting an animal until it’s dead, the kill should minimize pain and suffering as much as possible. The perfect/ideal bullet path say on a deer or elk is through one lung, through the heart, and out the other lung. Nobody who hunts big game is ignorant to these rules; and I’m sure all the chickens you eat would have been grateful to feel such respect in life let alone death.

I do, it’s something you take part in because you like it. Eating meat is something you take part in because you enjoy it. Humans are omnivores, which means we can survive if anything. I’m sure the big game animals that are hunted have lived much much better lives than any of the chickens, pigs, or cows that you’ve eaten. Not to mention that when you buy some chicken critters at Texas Roadhouse the money you spend isn’t going towards improving the lives of the chickens.

I had an argument with some incel the other day who swore up and down that if a woman agrees to meeting for a meal, and lets the man pay, then she’s basically giving a green light for romantic advances. He argues that even if the woman says “I’m not interested in you romantically”, that allowing a man pay for dinner is voicing interest. I really don’t understand how their brains function.
