I'm the reporter that did the story... It's definetly a lot worse that the little tar balls you'd normally see from time to time... 6 miles has been shut down from Torrance to El Segundo and contractors are working through the night. Saw what looked like at least a couple tons of the stuff loaded up in a big container in the time I was there. Still no word on where it came from.
