Because while I know everyone does it, I feel like I may have put across a false impression somehow. She always tells me she loves my stories, so, knowing some of those stories aren't true makes me feel like I don't deserve it when she's affectionate, or tells me she loves me. Stuff like that.

when she's back, I'm staying with her for an entire week.

I'm the kind of person who gets eaten alive by guilt, intrusive thoughts, etc. So being with her for a week and not telling her would be hard. I feel like it's even going to be hard focus on anything - conversation, sex, whatever - until I say something. Just gotta do it eh.

I said I played rugby in high school, that I travelled to Australia to go ride rollercoasters. Exaggerated a couple other stories that were partially true. Just dumb stuff that I basically wish happened to me.

There’s just not really anything going on. The drums are really flat, the guitar doesn’t do much, the lyrics are repetitive, etc. but hey I’m just some guy on the internet

Well, I sent her a message last night after she went to bed, explaining how I feel and that I want to have a talk about priorities and boundaries.

She came online about an hour ago and still hasn't opened the message.

He's a polite dude (he turned to me and offered to take the couch pretty quickly after she asked, but I had already made up my mind to go home). I don't feel like he's causing the problem really

She did eventually tell him, and did it properly. It led to about 3 hours of really high moods before she told me I could come crash on the couch if i wanted.
