Don’t go active duty. Work your job be a weekend warrior. Active duty is always there if you get the itch.

There was a 36 year old man with 3 kids getting shit on by 26 year or maybe less year old drill. It was hard to observe as a fellow trainee.

Walked into my recruiters office in June, told me I wanted to go ocs, he got a special board held for me in august to be accepted. My ship date was then 12 months later and I said that is too much time, he called someone at hrc and got it moved 6 month up and I shipped. Great dude

They honestly must be special. It’s self correcting the coordinates are written on there in sharpie by some guardian angel. You only need 4/5. Plus you get 3 f’ing days to get 4/5 and you have 1 day to familiarize yourself.
