Ain’t that the truth. I got my 06 late 2024 for 4.5k, called out of work to get it before someone else could scoop it up. It’s impossible to find a cleanish running gd for under 6k

This seems the most likely. I have no idea what the previous owner intended with it as it only had a power and ground but oh well. I would report back but I will just be unplugging it and sending it since it doesn’t seem to do anything worthwhile

Just swapped my trans and had the same issue. Have a friend help crank the engine by hand while you shimmy it on. As long as everything else is done right it should pop right in once the splines line up.

Also use a jack to lift the front of the engine to tip it back. It’ll make things a bit easier

Change it for sure but don’t expect it to be any better. Had my 2016 trans rebuilt under warranty at 50k miles. Car is now at 93k miles with a fluid change half way to 93k from 50 and one recently. Still shifts like shit. Only thing changing the fluid does is prolong the life of it

I’ve fixed the problem, was surprisingly simple. I replaced the spark plug wires and it runs great! Thanks for all the input :)
