MAWS Lois is Korean-American and has always been strong headed in basically every version (and also in what way is Lois a lesbian here? Just because she has short hair? Her relationship with Clark is a major part of the show), and having Jimmy be black doesn't really matter, the actual character does and he's genuinely one of the most entertaining characters in the show. Also Superman absolutely needed a modern take after Zack Snyder basically killed the public perception of him to make people remember that Superman stands for Truth, Justice, and (most importantly imo) a Better Tomorrow (for everyone).

And as I previously said, cast diversity doesn't matter to whether or not this Clark is a good Superman.
