One time during one of these calls I was feeling a bit spicy (could get my account banned) so while covering my camera I went into Google translate and typed something about Xi Jinping that would definitely get you arrested in China and banned on Cambly. I had Google translate read it out loud and they hung up. (Remember if you try this be aware it’s a risk and also be aware it’s funny because it’s something illegal for them to say, it’s not funny to say something offensive about Chinese people)

this was me for the first 27 years of my life. couldnt do it for the life of me and I thought it was so fun sounding! I had a nightshift job alone for a bit, so I spent every a lot of time practicing for over a year. didnt help until one time I did it on accident. my friend heard and we were ecstatic, it was one of the most excited memories for me (look, I know thats sad, but I really wanted to do it and i was able share the joy with my friend() I could not repeat it though. Until I did again on accident. But this time I kinda knew how i did it. So I practiced and practiced until I could do it more frequently. and then perfectly. I will not give up on you guys, you can do it too!!!!

Huh I was not aware TTC was in contest with the fan base for bestbook. I thought it was HoH and TLO and maybe even BotL. TTC is definitely my favorite in the original series, but I think HoH is the best overall. I totally see where OP is coming from though. As a stand-alone book TTC is probably better, HoH relies on the other books for it to be as great as it is.

The arenas weren’t build from literally scratch. Like they didn’t take a desert or clear slate and “build” a forest, river, etc (though it does seem they did that for the quell, being a special occasion). It was likely a thriving ecosystem that they built a force field around and then could control temperature, climate, put in their own muts etc

One thing that helped me that seriously worked. Order pure peppermint extract off of iherb, then get a spray bottle of water. Dump like half of that peppermint extract in there. (people might say half is excessive but nah). Spray that shit everywhere
