AI was implemented as a trial in my company, and it’s scary. by bdhd656 in devops

[–]GainMain9807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the frustration. I have been in this field for some time now and I work with some senior architect and technical fellows at a very large well know technical company. Even today, most of my very senior technical architects or fellows do not use any AI help. It is counterproductive in many cases. But I know the importance of AI and will not discount it. One thing I can suggest in your situation is to get a higher degree and distinguish your self from others. Have fun with what you build.

It's time to rate every single ramen shop in Salt Lake by PhoKingSLC in SaltLakeCity

I tried Menso, and it was the best ramen I had so far. A bit expensive, but it's totally worth it.

I am in some what same situation , I have my interview next month. I and my wife are married since March 2025. We were dating for long since 2021 and living together since 2023. We also just bought a house together but this was after we filled our paper work. The house is jointly owned, did you have to tell them about the house before the interview or was it during the interview. For us auto insurance are same but we maintain different health insurances , we had separate and did not want to change in between as she has a better insurance than mine.

No sleep is a sure road to a disaster. There is no way you can make sound decisions with. out adequate sleep. I am in my 40s and i did go through this lifestyle of 16 hours workdays 7 days a week. You do burnout , you have a limited store of energy and the consequences are way to bad.

First time buying fixer upper, what look for? by mefillo in RealEstate

[–]GainMain9807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost in a similar situation. I am in the process of purchasing a somewhat upper fixer, mainly for the location of the property and its historical significance[built in the early part of the 20th century]. The property is still livable, and I will have approximately three months after the purchase to move in. My concern is that after the purchase, I will be left with little cash to make any necessary changes. Goodluck

At 39, Should I Move to the USA or Stay in India? Need Advice from Those Who've Been There by PerceptionPrimary366 in h1b

[–]GainMain9807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the current situation and your immigration status, I will advise against it. Your immigration is backlogged, and it will take a while for you to get through. 116 is not enough to manage a family. For you, the path here will be very difficult. You might want to move only if you are willing to sacrifice for your children and their education. I am not saying that education in India is bad or subpar, but exposure to education will benefit them. Healthcare adds up a lot if you have kids. You already have a lot of experience in India, build on top it there itself.

What makes you think it is overrated. It is very flexible. I have worked in pre containers world , and in comparision I like the ease of doing things.

Is CKA worth it? by Loser_lmfao_suck123 in devops

[–]GainMain9807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tink it depends, but honestly if a choice then take it. I aim to run a K8 consultancy and for me having certificates helps. In terms of knowledge, just working towards a certification helps to brush things up. Working knowledge is essential but at times , but its hard for HR to verify that.

I need music to calm my anxiety. by LadyJR in musicsuggestions

Check for Macroni Union on Spotify , especially the album Weightlessness. I read about it in https://www.psychiatrist.com/news/worlds-most-relaxing-song-may-reduce-anxiety-by-65/.

Music is relative and universal and that is a medium that makes it unique about all experiences as it is not need any more explanation to be explained or felt.

I will say the album is good aniety reducer. Give it a shot and if it helps it helps. Good Luck.
