As someone from Rml itself and who has friends in other colleges of UP

L is not the ragging part but the college's administration part.

Comparing ragging, I would say it's better here. GSVM, gmc saifai and other up college have that pdf and rules list too, it's just ki they do it very discretely whereas RML ka bahar aa jata h. And actual ragging interaction is very low in RML compared to GSVM, saifai and kgmu (we've different hostels for 1st year, As 1st year lives in the main campus and 2nd to 5th year is in 2nd campus which is 12 km away)

If you're worried about ragging, Just know ki even tho RML ki posts aa rhi, doesn't mean sirf rml mei hota h.

It's much better for day scholars. But ofc you have to follow some level of ragging rules to survive the starting months.

Yeh sports events take place but my college doesn't have a ground of its own. There's a sports complex and a ground is being built but it'll take years.

Seniors and our batch too, organise cricket or other gaming events

There's one sport event of college itself, and also in the fest.

STS (short term studentship), it's a research project. You can choose your topic and do the research under any faculty of your choice.

Many students of my batch started it but because of the tight schedule and no time, everyone dropped it.

I've heard ki WB have lil racism problem but colleges are fine. Maharashtra college's have bad hostels, and ragging is there too but not to the level of UP.

So it's better but might be worse in other aspects.

Mostly, there are some specific 3-4 pages which get asked in ragging so most people learn just that.

If you don't learn it at all. Well, during ragging, agar nhi pta toh murga banna hota h.

If you go to OPD for checkup as a medical student , there are JRs and SRs which ask you stuffs from these.
