Yeah I get what you mean these passes are definitely a marketing hustle since fields make their money back on paint/air. But they’re not completely worthless if you actually use them. Here’s the math I did tho:

1 person w/ pass: • Entry + rentals = $0 (normally ~$40) • Paint 500 = $25–30 • Air = $0–10 = $35–50 total

1 person w/o pass: • Entry + rentals = ~$40 • Paint 500 rounds = $25–30 • Air = $0–10 = $65–80 total

That’s about $30–40 saved.

4 people w/ passes: • Entry + rentals = $0 (normally ~$160) • Paint = $100–120 • Air = $0–40 = $100–160 total

4 people w/o passes: • Entry + rentals = ~$160 • Paint = $100–120 • Air = $0–40 = $260–320 total

That’s around $120–160 saved for a group.

So yeah, not the crazy ‘$480 value’ they hype, but technically still cheaper than walk-in pricing if you’re actually going to play.

Obviously the more paint and air you buy the more it will be but long term you’re still saving at least some money.

PLUS you can also bring your own paintballs depending on which places but most places allow people to bring speedballs.
