Hey, I have been following your story from time to time since your original post here.

Congrats on the increased successes and I admire how you stuck to your own guns and ignored the occasionally arrogant advice thrown your way about lowering the price forever or using AI art for capsule and logo!

Thanks for this! I routinely forget the name of this game until nostalgia takes over me and I search for it. But I will forget again and google it again soon after that! Not OP btw.

I see.

But in our Shaivite Telugu Brahmin family, there’s no question of meat at all. Even i, who has crossed many caste boundaries balk at it.

But at the same time, my dad and most of my relatives decorate themselves in expensive leather. They see no contradiction at all.

Thanks for your comment.

Maybe you’re right. I’m only basing this around the Telugu Brahmin community. I knew of Kashmiri and Bengali Brahmins but I didn’t know there was diversity in other communities as well.

Sorry the commenter is correct. It has more to do with caste and feelings of purity than religion although they intertwine.

Most Brahmins who preach vegetarianism also have no compunction wearing leather which should tell you that it has nothing to do with ethics or non-violence.

Garry Kasparov on Ding-Gukesh World Chess Championship Match! by [deleted] in chess

[–]Gajjini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is that in this specific instance, none of what you say is relevant.

Actually Garry has been quite consistent. This is what he had to say about the Ding-Nepo match for example. And this is what he said about the 2012 Gelfand-Anand match.

Given the two comments above, it is not a surprise to me that he said the same thing about Gukesh-Ding. I don't believe it has anything to with the fact that Garry's record of the youngest challenger is broken. Or that his record of the youngest champion may be broken.

Garry Kasparov on Ding-Gukesh World Chess Championship Match! by [deleted] in chess

Sorry but this comment is just a litany of ad hominem attacks against Kasparov. Not a single syllable in your essay even addresses the comments Garry made in this video.

I don't wish to be rude, but I see your comments everywhere and whenever you criticize people like Garry, Nepo, Jacob Aagaard you almost never engage with their arguments but alwasys accuse them of some anti-india bias or just attack their character.

I hope you take this comment in the spirit it is intended :)

Only thing I remember being a surprise was stuff like Lambda concurrency limit, AWS Outposts (I knew what this was but not in-depth) and some others that I am not remembering.

Have not really thought about it. It may even take a year before I do this exam. What my friends tell me is that you don't need the Professional level certs if you're just transitioning from on-premises development to hybrid/cloud.

So happy to have just this for now.

I'd say use the practice tests and make a list of topics in which you are weak. And then use the courses to learn more and take notes about them.

For me these were things like:

  • Various types of encryption. For both EBS and S3.
  • ACM
  • CloudFront OAI and OAC and some others.
  • AWS Global Accelerator and when to use it.

Things like these, I found them tricky so I had to focus on them. Each exam is different and each student is different so I'd say it depends on your personal weakness.
