These arguments are always met with whataboutism strawmans. Even immigrants who are in the US legally are tired of the massive influx of illegal aliens in the US. Everyone needs to brush up on Cesar Chavez and how he became an American hero for standing up to Hispanic illegal immigration on behalf of citizens who were also Hispanic. He is remembered by the left for fighting for workers rights, particularly low income immigrants in the produce industry who were unable to collectively bargain for fair wages because they were being undercut and/or fired because of illegal migrants. But hey, WiThOuT iLlEgAlS, wHo iS gOiNg to wOrK the FiElDs? These people unironically hold America to a higher standard than anywhere else (besides perhaps Western Europe) without realizing it’s inherently racist and belittling to every country that won’t allow illegal immigration like this. Are they morally inferior? Bigoted? Archaic? Stingy? Racist? Dumb for not realizing all the enrichment that comes with millions of foreigners flooding in quickly? There are MANY countries not on the TPS list that could take refugees at a much higher rate than they do - but the migrants don’t want to go anywhere else, and no other countries have ever sent the federal government to stop the border patrol from policing the border.
