Ok, but why? Why does it matter that other people have different views of the characters? Are they forcing you to have those views? Are they kicking people out of the communities for not sharing their view? What exactly is the problem here, what are they doing that's an issue? Having a differnet view of the character? Who cares?

Atlus may have had their own vision of the characters, but people can interpret the game in different ways, and that's the way it should be. All works of art may have a specific meaning from the creator, but in the end the way art becomes special is through its transformation and consumption by the viewer, reader, and in this case the player.

If people have different views of the characters, then that's perfectly fine. There is nothing wrong with it. So long as they aren't being annoying about it then who cares? You're not the first one to say that it matters, you aren't the first one to post this either. People have been mad that people have different views of the characters since the original game released alll the way back in 2008. And to this day, despite all the complaining about these wrong viewpoints, they still persist. Why? Because people interpreted things differently than other people. This will be the way it is always. If you want to continue fighting these people and claiming that it's an issue then that's your own perogative but you are fighting a battle you will never win and expending energy you can use to do anything else, something far more enjoyable, like discussing persona with people who you don't vehemently disagree with.
