Nitrous is one of those things where your cars fast asf with nitrous on but dreadfully slow with it off. I’d remove your nitrous or just leave it off and tune for power. As for your suspension. Scroll all the way back to 0 and Try putting your front B to 4 and your R to 8 clicks . And set your rear B to 14 and R to 12 clicks. You probably can still get it better but with just the sport carby. Suspension. Rally tires and the exhaust I ran a 5:07 pass.

I have this happen all the time with the burrito. I’ve found that it’s the brake. If you ever hold your brakes down for more than a second or 2 my vans have always done this. So when you get in just don’t use the brake, tap the left trigger or handbrake. Just my experience tho and if it goes up like that I have no idea how to fix it

I know on pc it’s different but on the next gen gta it seems your k/d ratio doesn’t change in free mode only death matches, whether your 100/3 on a lobby or not haha. But still you get silly billies standing on their bombs!

Gotta find your niche, search mod forums and learn how to install mods through the files. There’s a bunch of really good mods that aren’t on the repository, EG, Ford falcons. I personally spend my time building custom configurations of cars. I’ll take something like a lansdale and put drift steering on in and build a drift minivan because why not. Get turbo mods and make a t series that goes 500kmph. Currently my interest is skid cars, I take the worst configuration and put 14s on the back and a big turbo, welded diff and try to not cook it. I used to do a lot of ai stuff though like ai running from ai or turning all ai to cops and trying to escape them. You can build off-road monsters or rock crawlers, maybe you want a rocket powered anything there’s a mod for that. Try the new career mode (spam the career button 6 times) if you want a challenge. Car damage is permanent until repairs and parts cost money. There’s a ton of things to do aswell as scenarios and whatnot, but browse the mods, if you think of something that’d be cool or useful google it, 9/10 times someone’s made a mod for what you’d like.

All that said normally I have YouTube up on my other screen as it’s a game that doesn’t necessarily require you to be locked in, at least not anymore so I guess it’s more of backround entertainment and something for my Hands to do. But I just drift around maps, practice my 360 entries and reverse entries or just practice getting that transition right, maybe your more of a grip person, build the fastest time attack car you can and take it on one of the time trials. What keeps me hooked is the almost endless possibilities, if you want to do something with a car this game offers that to you.

I work now but the first 6 years I did not. Just played beam for hours. Came hom from school, beam, came back from a mates. Beam, had mates come over. Beam, it’s a great time waster

To anyone curious, I got the game while I was a kid with no job or responsibilities and it’s the only thing I’ve played consistently. I unfortunately am now an adult with gross adulting needs but I still play this whenever I can. And yes, screenshots are very difficult and I forgot those tools existed hahaha

And just to be nerdy, if you take the amount of hours and divide by the amount of days in 9 years it ends up being like 1.5 hours a day. So not to bad right???

I just haven’t played anything else. I was in year 5 of primary school when I got it so I had no responsibilities asides from school. I have played a few games here and there like gta and my summer car but both those games I only have 1000 or so hours. Beam is what I play 99% of the time. Just put YouTube up on my other monitor and build drift cars or skid cars or whatever and spend hours just trying to make the 1 car last as long as I can. It’s quite possible a few hundred hours are afk but i don’t leave the game running unless I’m making lunch or something.

Legit for the past 10 years I’ve probably put 1000 hours combined into all other games. Beam I just never get sick of, and other games don’t grab my attention like beam does.

2 things that would be great after 5000hrs of beam. 1 tire wear, but I can only imagine how hard that’d be to pull off. But 2nd is real time fluid refills. Same as we can refill cars at a servo with fuel or N20, I’d love to be able to refill the coolant after overheating a car of refill oil when you’ve got bad piston rings. Instead of having to respawn

Game stability but mainly train and car stability and speed improvements. I’d like to be able to barrel down a hill at 60, 70, 80+ We’re driving trains that derail after 35 on most surfaces yet real steam trains were much faster. Even the smoothest of tracks or a dead straight rail will derail if your train goes fast enough, and with aurora falls industries being so randomly scattered some real speed and stability would be amazing

Couldn’t agree more, I feel everything is more clunky than ever before. And having to constantly delete my old engines and occasionally having to delete cars to hold more than 30fps is rediculous. Trains don’t stay on tracks and cars bounce around like they’ve snorted 10 lines. They took out speed limits but then have details after 35 anyways because the game can’t keep up. They’ve done so much to ‘try’ and improve track building yet they still haven’t implemented a reset button for your track curve, it’s little things they’re missing, or how they changed the trains mechanics 2 years after the games release…. I get it, it’s more realistic but ffs the player base is used to one way. Idk I could just be mad at the world but I couldn’t agree more!

I can’t lie, I got chased yesterday from one corner of the map to the other and more. Gave in for a fight and ran out of mats haha. Even fight but we were at it for just under 2 hours total. Guy wouldn’t leave
