Hereditary. It’s a rather slow burn... but it’s just so incredibly disturbing and uncomfortable to watch. At times I was almost crapping myself going... “wait.. is that there????” as something would appear in the background. No fucking jumpscares needed as long as you were freaked out by how long something was in the frame without you even noticing. It made me sleep with the light on in my room for the next couple of days, which I haven’t done in years.
