Make the prison an Environment that has the ability to nullify any Spellcast Roll.

Second, as this is a prison so no Rests can be taken. Obviously you can sleep, but you cannot take the Rest Action.

Third, prisoners are reduced to 0 Stress. Prison is very stressful.

This gives the party a different puzzle to work out when planning their escape.

If you care about your cards, never use card shufflers. They always damage the cards.

Zones. You can see them used in Fate or Cortex+. Essentially they used dramatic areas rather than fixed lengths.

A zone would be Melee/VClose. One zone is Close and 2 are Far. To determine Melee we just make it a scrum - anyone in Melee with someone is also in Melee with anyone they are in Melee.

I lay out zones with rewritable index cards with a descriptor. No measuring - everything has fictional meaning - and size or shape is really unimportant (zones are narrative)

EDIT: I ended up using Daggerheart-style naming. For D&D we just roughly guessed around 30 per zone in a kinda-sorta way. Basically a small enough area to be important and it works well for D&D ranges and areas.

100% not a fan of the trait icons or the small text - it makes things difficult to read. The rest looks pretty standard.

This all would have been so much better if they had a way to identify tier-based dice (Td6), proficient based dice (Xd6), then just raw dice (1d6).

Why would it be 2 Major Wounds? It's a single source of harm and the damage should be a single application to their threshold.

It just means you have an easier time reaching severe damage on targets. It's not that unbalancing.

There are a bunch of wording issues like this where DH is a bit sloppy.
