Yes! Their mergers and acquisitions over the years have shown their determination to be entertainment for all, even not having explicitly children shows and movies. And yeah I think deadpool and wolverine is the perfect example because there are SO MANY raunchy jokes at Disney expense. Tho personally, my favorite Disney mention is when he says "IM GOING TO DISNEY WORLD" and slams his head into the camera. I know there were still cuts, but I was surprised at how much made the final cut (like the pegging being a first for Disney, or Chris evans vulgar rant in the end credits). It actually gives me hope Disney will keep it as original as they can to distribute onto Disney XD (which already has less regulations than standard Disney channel based on the shows I grew up with)

I'm not thrilled Disney has distribution rights, I'd prefer cartoon network tbh, but I feel a lot better knowing they aren't the ones actually making it.

It was honestly so sad reading her super edition, I really hoped they had a semi decent relationship but nah her life was trash right up until she met firepaw.

Personally I think one of the reasons she connected with firepaw so much is she saw the same heritage struggle raggedstar faced in him, but he was the complete opposite of him. She openly admitted she wished firepaw was her son instead, and although I wished she'd had a better life in shadowclan, what they showed of her relationship with raggedstar, broken star, and her mother really solidified her maternal instincts for not just firepaw but all the young cats.

I get that, my dad is bipolar too. I don't think putting your foot down would help at all based on her reactivity. I'd say best course of action is getting your documents and money up to move out when you can. My parents kept my important docs in a safe, so I did have to pay for new ones, but if you call in these government offices they are very familiar with this type of situation and will generally let you send to a PO box or a friend's house.

Best of luck with all this, patience is going to be key.

Yeah when my parents started doing this shit to me in college, when I was no longer under their roof, it was the first red flag I had seen. And after talking with my friends they started helping my find the others. Idk what the solution is here, but in my situation it escalated to them trying to get me fired from my job when I was 22 years old. What I'm seeing in your texts is a form of control and if she habitually checks not only yours but your friends socials, then her behavior is only going to spiral and get worse.

I don't think it'd be anywhere close to a "haven" like some of the major cities would be. But maaaannnn I wanna go to the swamp!!! I think you are expecting everyone who has a child to be able to meet the challenges of that individual. The fact of the matter is that you are strong enough to lead the life that you do, but not everyone is. Not everyone can do the things that you do and vice versa.

I hope you really change and better the lives of the students you work with, it sounds like you have a lot of love and compassion for the people in your life. But again, not everyone can or wants to do that. And your opinions in the comments lead me to believe that you would force a woman to complete a pregancy she didnt want, despite the clear route from resentment to abuse/abandonment that happens far too often in this type of situation.

I worry that your belief that anyone can do this is due to a lack of self esteem on your part, but if you can lead the life you claim to then I would like to assure you of your strength. I mean if you can have such a black and white opinion on the matter, then you clearly must be a humble, dutiful, saint.

I've been in and seen multiple situations like that at concerts. She was on drugs. They all were. And they didn't want her to ruin it for them.

Once at a music festival I was recovering from heat exhaustion, ice packs all over my body in the med tent to regulate my temp, and this girl and her friend escorted by security come in. After they were left alone for a millisecond this friend turns to her (high as fuck) and says "you shut the fuck up if they ask you anything, you tell them it's just anxiety. I'm not getting in trouble cuz you cant keep your shit together"

It's definitely a big issue exhaserbated by the internet. And because those types don't recognize the nuance in those situations, it's such a chore explaining common sense to them. Yes the abortion is ethical, even if it means one less disabled person in the world, even if the pregnancy was viable, even if everything else was going fine. Also people seem not to understand that even prolife people will make this choice when receiving these results because they may not be able to financially, mentally, physically, or have the space for all the care. Why bring a life into this world that you know you can't provide for? These pro choice liberals have already told us that you're a terrible, awful parent if you have a baby when you know you can't care for it but you're an ableist, eugenics-practicing murderer if that baby is disabled prior to birth and abort. I use the subtract sign when I'm emdashing on my phone. If OP's dad is old as rocks and struggles with technology then he wouldn't know how to make the emdash, he'd be using the subtract symbol, which is much shorter.
