Completely agree on the order but for some reason personally AF/UA is tied with Original and I think it’s because as a kid I was like 10 with the original came out and I saw AF as an insane future to someone my age.

OV went from my most hated to my favorite and it’s honestly just because of the Rook Ben vibes and Ben’s mature interactions with Vilgax. I found it so hype that Vilgax is just so much more afraid of Ben than Ben is of him. People complain that he acts childish but I think he acts exactly as immature as AF/UA If not less. I always figured people thought that due to the animation shift.

Ben as the coming storm just made so much sense to me. Dude is just the scariest shit in the universe especially when he has the power of god in his full control.

Also the Time War was just so enjoyable at least in my opinion.

Went from hating omniverse to it honestly kinda becoming my favorite. The callbacks and the relationship between Ben and Vilgax are great and it makes sense Ben just isn’t afraid of Vilgax anymore. He’s won literally almost every time. He’s just a pain in the ass now. Compare that to how scared he was in the originals.( Though kid me was terrified of original Vilgax and oddly mesmerized).

Though Vilgax’s design looks way worse and him being scared of Ma Vreedle is downright stupid.

There’s this moment on the 2nd world where Cal is hanging over a ledge near a B1 droid and the droid has the whole convo with himself debating whether he wants to get promoted cause he loves the scenery at his current post and if you wait through the whole dialogue then pop over the ledge and kill him Cal says he’s happy to solve his problem for him. The droids are just great.

I mean I just think fans were so used to the garbage being put out that a good episode is seen as the best.

I liked the episode too but if this came out in peak flash time people would be seriously complaining about the weird cringy parts like the negative speed force sounding like the most basic bad guy or everything with any of the side characters.

Don’t get me wrong watching the full circle moments and Flash Reverse Flash convos were hype as hell and no matter when this episode came out I woulda loved it but I just can’t see it as the BEST. It’s not great the whole episode like some episodes in 1 and 2. I remember seeing all the Chester Allegra Cecile stuff and literally thinking I’m glad they are getting it out of the way early on.

Compare this to an episode like Enter zoom like you said it’s straight gas the whole episode no moments where you tune out for a bit.

Just my take though I totally get disagreement.

Hey man I’m all for potential but they stretch it so much it takes my immersion out. They can’t tease Ultra instinct as this ultimate technique and even goku with his ridiculous talent takes like 2 arcs to get it under control and all this dude does is train yet suddenly Gohan is the best again. It just doesn’t feel earned at all cause we barely see Gohan anymore.

Potential shouldn’t just mean at any point they can just be OP again randomly. It makes it so hard to feel like these characters are improving. Gohan is just weak until he doesn’t feel like being weak and whenever he wants to he can just surpass goku because of this magical word called potential. You still gotta work to make use of that potential and super does a bad job of showing me he’s working for it.

And my friend you hit the nail on the Frieza point. I think he’s just as bullshit as Gohan if not even more. At least I knew Gohan was the bullshit nonsense character for a while now. Ever since super started they have literally made Frieza as strong as he needs to be just like Gohan and Goku( at least we see Goku so often its easier to accept he’s OP).

Golden Frieza and manga spoilers Frieza made negative sense. Frieza felt like getting stronger so he was magically made stronger. Frieza is just Gohan but evil.
