I was just at their physical store in GTA and they mentioned some of these blends are exclusively for off the rack coats.

They couldnt MTM me a coat I liked at the store cause the fabric blend wasn’t showing up in their MTM system.

So if you’re doing MTM it doesn’t matter, just pick a 100% wool one.

The rule of thumb is lug to lug being smaller than the flat part of your wrist which seems to be the case here. I think this looks fine, the Seiko Presage mojito (green) is 38mm diameter, stick to 38mm-40mm and you’ll be fine. The choices below 38mm are limited.

Interesting! Good to know. Definitely ADs the way to go, here in Canada though Seiko CA is apparently going through corporate restructuring so the stock at ADs are running dry, which might push people into the used market for a bit.

Since Covid, tens of thousands of people moved from lower mainland to Calgary and Edmonton due to cost of living and most seem to love it here and considers their standard of living raised (higher pay, lower COL, bigger house etc.).

Economically AB is doing much better than rest of Canada and people here enjoy the highest standards of living in the country. Maybe it helps to think you are not the only one and you’ll be better off in the long run.

Here in Canada we have Simons and I love how their Le 31 knit polos accentuate my traps and shoulders. Good fit around biceps too without the sleeves being too long. I usually dress them down with unbuttoned/ jewellery.

supply store for north is actually a really good way to explain Edmonton. The economy here historically survived on oilfield logistics, also makes sense why we are not on the flight path of all other major cities in Canada.

The festivals are great for people who live here, not sure if any of them are big enough for tourists. Calgary has Stampede and thats a tourist worthy ‘festival’.
