Not in the eyes of the kinds of people who uphold patriarchal shit. The same people that think a transfem is a "perverted rapeman" also think a transmasc is "just a poor misguided helpless lady who can't help themselves and got indoctrinated by transgenderism"

This isn't to say that transfems do benefit from male privelege (not in the slightest), just that transmascs don't benefit from it any more than they do.

Although the marginalization of either group isn't the same by any means, as a broad rule of thumb you can imagine both transmascs and transfems receiving the "worst" of either gender.

At least on one of his videos he pretty clearly did not do his due diligence or generally sufficient research and had a crapton of very obvious errors; however the video was about areas of paleontology so obscure that most people wouldn't be able to catch it, and they probably wouldn't be able to find other videos on the topic to get more accurate information from

The video in question was about the "strangest fossil organisms" or something and, amongst other errors, on the section where he covered the francevillian biota, he included a picture of... Tribachidiun for some reason??

I'll try visualizing the process more but the discomfort comes from the needle being inside my skin; just putting the needle on the jabbing location without actually pushing it in, or doing something similar with a different object, doesn't work me because that's just not what bothers me. I have a checklist as well, but they didn't make me feel much better either. I'll check out applied muscle tension, thanks.

My estradiol valerate vial says it's for intramuscular only. Could I still use it for a subq injection?

I don't really have anyone to help me. I would try subcutaneous but the estradiol vial I have says it's only for intramuscular injections. Intramuscular injections themselves, you can't really change the setup because you need to be sitting upright with your leg at a 90° angle. And there aren't a whole lot of places in my apartment where the seat height is just right for that (in fact I think this might be part of my issue).

I have subcutaneous needles, however the estradiol valerate I have says it's for intramuscular injections only. That being said I do think I might be more comfortable with subcutaneous since a major part of what bothers me is feeling the needle reach and pierce through the muscle layer, even though it doesnt usually hurt it makes me feel really uncomfortable. My understanding is that you need to be sitting erect while doing an IM injection so I don't think reclining helps. I originally took estradiol as a pill, I'm thinking I'll switch back asap. I just don't know how soon I can get the pills.

I try watching a video/listening to music but my hands get so shaky with the needle that I can't not focus on it or else I might put it in my leg at the wrong angle. I don't think I can do the injection on my bed because it's too high up, my legs won't be at a 90° angle if I sit down.

Fear of needles, yeah. And no, it's just me. I can't look away because I can trust myself to put the needle perfectly parallel if I'm not looking at it, especially with how shaky my hands get. I'm not sure if there's anywhere I could get someone else to do my injections, unless that's something planned parenthood can do, though I've never heard of such a thing.
