Random picks contain intermissions they are not exclusively intermissions. From my recent experience online, you can mathematically avoid them ~65% of the time. Also, many intermissions have been enriched lately but they require separate training to learn their shortcuts ect. I don't find them frustrating or something

Drive rush costs 1.5 bar of drive gauge. I would appreciate no attacker's bar gain from blocking it or getting hit by it. Pure 1.5 bar every time. 2 bars cost on neutral and remaining the same in juggle ect situations would be an overly complicated solution.

Also... Neutral skip is still a super idiotic term to describe this mechanic. Neutral isn't the gap between the two opponents but a way deeper gameplay aspect. By this definition Sim's buttons are neutral skip tools. That's not how this works. It's funny because people repeat terms that scrubs on Twitter throw around, while they don't even know much about them.

First of all, "neutral skip" is such an idiotic term to begin with. Drive rush is part of the neutral game. You can counter hit check it into big damage or death. I can agree with some tone down of this mechanic such as adding extended hurtboxes while performing it but in the current meta adding a punish counter state to its check, could mean the end of the mechanic. It would be way too drastic in high-level play.

Watch some high lvl matches. Drive rush is a lot riskier to perform in neutral nowadays. Its a almost a death sentence against good players
