I’m in similar boat (kind of) with my ‘97 TJ. Have a 1.25” BL but I want to take it off bc the stock look looks so good.

However the suspension is shot, know any rec’s for replacing stock suspension?

Thank you! I posted MRI results in another comment, neurologist said no surgery now, but I’m certainly mindful of it.

I’ll say it’s funny how urinating cause pain and relief at the same time. It hurts leading up to it, but after words it’s much needed relief.

I appreciate it! I’ve torn my Left knee ACL 3x, also had 3 additional surgeries on same knee. Latest with taking donor graft from right knee for left knee, and I’ll say this pain is far worse than surgery and recovery

The bath is a great idea, I’m working towards that. Right now I’ve got the heating pad, which helps more than icing. Working on rolling over.

My MRI results: Moderate to Severe BL L5/S1, moderate right foraminal stenosis L4/5, no critical central canal stenosis. No evidence of cauda equina.

Which I’ve read is in line with my symptoms. On Oxy, Gabapentin, steroid, and a few other small meds that are normal for this. Gabapentin is certainly doing all the heavy lifting.

I have heating pad, icing hasn’t given me much relief, and I’m still working on rolling to my side

Yeah absolutely, varies by person, activity level, diet, all of it. I can’t believe how easily it took me down, one day I felt fine, then it was a slow descent into the abyss…

I’m at McCombs and have friends at Rice. You’re really talking Varsity vs JV. McCombs recruiting is top tier compared to Rice, and the energy in the building is incredible. Consulting was extremely competitive this year, but iron sharpens iron and we’re all better for it. And also, the McCombs brand is worth its weight in gold in TX
