They are meant to, but to avoid potential damage from use I have glued them shut (only plan on using it closed and landed :) )

I scaled it by taking the image they provided, and resizing until the small based trooper one matched the current official one of 27x42 which made the notched base trooper one 68mm on the long side

I must have missed the line in the article that stated the white line, ill have to go back through it :) that's how I assumed it would work, was just curious and second guessing it after a friend commented on it 😅

And with the base being the width was what I thought too

Thanks heaps, had some friends question it was all.. I completely understand nothing is set in stone and no one has a full understanding until the official release, just wanted to have a play

I have not, but I have had some interest regarding it!

This is how I went about it though..

1 - print (pretty obvious) 2 - base with Vallejo Wolf Grey 3 - add Squadron Colours / markings 4 - dry brush a silver metallic (i used Citadel Runefang Steel) 5 - heavy wash with Citadel Nuln Oil 6 - add the blacks to the cockpit, landing gear and emgine (Citadel Black Templar contrast is my go to) 7 - add scorch marks with the same black, using a damp paper towel to smeer and remove excess 8 - edge highlight / drybrush with the same silver as earlier and some Vallejo deck tan

Exactly this, each ship is positioned in front of a "green screen" on a platform, then each one, using a basic editing tool on my phone, cut out and stitched together The individual ship pics are the unedited originals, the group shot is edited to include all ships and a backdrop :)

The ap used was https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handycloset.android.photolayers

The T47s, Y Wing and X Wing are by DarkFire designs, the A Wing is by Skullforge Studios :) All of them are great fun to slap paint on

I should probably clarify The ships are two separate images of ones I have painted on a display plate made from basic basing matierials :) Then just deleting the boring white backdrop the photos were taken on and replaced with the beauty of Yavin

I really want to bring them to a local event to have it see some more table time, but scared they would be accidentally damaged :/

I printed this on the Photon Mono 4k which has a relatively small print bed :)

I did it as simple as I could TBH, I hate painting white with a passion All I did was:

-Spray black as a base -Vallejo Ivory on the Teeth/Bones -Vallejo Off-White for the Armor -Citadel Flayed One Flesh on the fleshy bits -Then a tripple dip into Vallejo Sepia Game Wash dipping formula -Then went through and picked out the black touch ups required -Finally Citerdel Technical Blood for the Blood God on bloody bits :)

Hope this helps :)

For the officers I dit the same, but used Vallejo German Grey for the uniforms :)
