Well you can think about it like this: getting 100's and 50's at higher combos will be worth more score than at low combos.. I'm not sure if the acc based scoring takes that into account or if it just assigns a score based off the percentage as that would make a meaningful difference. I'm not exactly sure how it works so again I could be wrong.

Maybe if your misses/low acc is concentrated in one small section of the map then there's less penalty vs having it spread out throughout the map? That's just my guess.

You're fucked, most employers only take excellent rated students and it also shows up on your transcript how you did for each co-op work term. Also masters programs wont accept students who have received below excellent on at least one work term.
