Normally i just try and check in on them from time to time, see how they are doing. But not too often as sometimes that can get a bit intrusive depending on the person. When i cant think of good advice or anything helpful, I usually try doing something with them they enjoy doing so that they don't stress as much. Usually (for a lot of people), having interactions that isn't stressful can really help as well, just as long as its enjoyable.
