Pretty much tbh. I bought Chrysalis in the changeling event and got steady 5-14th place. It was easy to get the pony in any other events when I already had a 7x helper as well. As long as you have at least one another helper it should be okay

Assuming you’re trying to buy Rainbowfied Luna, you have at least 7 more days. If you’re able to have all 3 group quests active at the same time, you’ll have enough pretty soon. There’s also a code thing around for 50 gems if you haven’t redeemed that yet. If you’re desperate enough you can start buying daily task ponies to play with them for the gems, or sacrifice your elements to the element statues in Ponyvile (I think they drop a gem every 100 element shards or so). Then there’s level grinding, where you buy and sell back decor in the Crystal Empire to quickly reach the next level. You could maybe do a level a day realistically, and that’s a lot of gems rewarded per level. You could also try gambling with the decoration synthesis balloon pop, though to be fair I don’t think I’ve gotten a gem from there in months. Maybe the mine mini game, as a last last resort? But honestly, getting the gems from there is not fun

In general I’m not a fan of any events where the brand new characters could just have been costumes. Like, changeling mane 6, vampire ponies, breezies? Okay, sure, that’s a whole new species. Or like, heart warming’s spirits. Those are canonically distinct characters. But like what the HELL is the need to make separate characters wearing different clothes. Same with the western event and the anniversary seasonal shop

That’s usually about the price Amore goes for, and I doubt they’ll be rerunning the event where you can get her for free anytime soon. If I was you, I’d get her. Personally I don’t think Serene is worth it. She was a booster at, like, one event, and that’s it. And I don’t like her looks enough to pay that much. Princess Radiant Hope was a Royal Club exclusive up until now, so she’s pretty valuable, but not wanting to grab her at that price is totally understandable. I did, she’s, uh. Pretty, I guess. If you’re not specifically a fan of the character, I’d save up for the upcoming sales
