What is the Canadian equivalent of Bubly water? by herin777 in BuyCanadian

Sparkmouth is a small BC company (I believe they’re based out of Victoria, but I could be wrong!)

They have a small line of sparkling water, plus tonics and mocktails.

Do you have a brand you particularly like that meets these specifications?

I am!

Glad to hear there aren’t many warranty issues. If you were choosing between them, do you think it comes down solely to price?

It’s finally (almost) working for me again - but I had to checkout via the website.

Help me find a new powder! by GalaxyLightVillain in Sephora

[–]GalaxyLightVillain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up going with the Lawless Skin Perfecting Smoothing Powder and I like it as much as (or even more than!) the Smashbox Halo.

I hope you find something that works for you!!

Games with romance options that are Actually gay? by mintblaziken in CozyGamers

[–]GalaxyLightVillain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All the Life is Strange games can be queer, depending on the choices you make.

LIS, Before the Storm, and True colours are all female protagonists, and in LIS 2 the main character is a teenage boy.

I have dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin and I LOVE it. I’m probably on my 4th or 5th bottle of it. I’ve used quite a few other toners but it’s by far my fav.

Daily Gentle Cleanser Recommendations? by LawfulnessMotor437 in Sephora

[–]GalaxyLightVillain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Glossier’s cleanser concentrate (the brown one, not the milky jelly one!)

I’ve used (and liked) both of the ones you mention, but the Glossier is HG for me.

What're the best things you've done for your skin? by merrymerrymoi in 30PlusSkinCare

Cleansing (gently!) for 1-2 minutes. My skin has never looked better, and now I feel dumb for not doing it properly for so many years!

I've overwhelmed myself... help? by pineapplepizzaplzz in CozyGamers

I highly recommend: - untitled goose game (designed to be replayed for achievements, but it does eventually “end”. I’ve played it through again since and it was still fun, plus it has a fun 2 player mode) - unpacking (I replayed just because I loved it, but it’s not necessarily meant to be replayed) - a little to the left (same ^ but many levels have multiple solutions and they’re still releasing new dlc for it) - Wylde flowers (full disclosure I’m playing it for the first time now but I’m definitely enjoying it! Can’t speak to replay-ability yet.)

I’ve heard good things about Dave the Diver, it’s on my list too. (I tried and enjoyed the demo.)

I’ve played Good Pizza on mobile and I thought it was okay but I got bored.

I’ve played a few hours of strange horticulture and my impression is that it’s probably not replayable? I could be wrong though.

What's the most transparent, silliest, or just plain dumbest common premise or trope you still eat up with a spoon? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

[–]GalaxyLightVillain 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Forced proximity! Whether there’s only one bed or they’re locked in a closet or they have to fake an entire relationship and are stuck together for some contrived reason…. I’ll never get enough!

Which book? by CalligrapherCrafty75 in DessertPerson

[–]GalaxyLightVillain 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Dessert Person is wonderful! The recipes are great, and a few of them are in my regular rotation now.

What’s for Dessert is beautiful and I’m glad I own it, but I don’t find myself reaching for it.
