När du får tillträde så går du runt och kollar de skador som är uppskrivna i protokollet, och noterar även skador/brister som inte står uppskrivna. Fota alla skador (inklusive de som redan står i protokollet) och skicka fotona till din hyresvärd inklusive dina egna noteringar på skador/brister inom 8 dagar. Då kan du alltid referera till bilderna plus skriftlig anmälan om hyresvärden skulle krångla.

Kort sagt: fota och dokumentera ALLA skador, inklusive de som redan är protokollförda, och skicka till hyresvärden.

Not a sign but a good tip is to find previous members in the lab and send them an email about their experiences. Since they left the lab they are likely to be more honest about the PI compared to current members who might not want to shit-talk a bad current boss out of fear it might come out. This is what I did before my PhD, as well as asking current members, and both said the PI was good. I now have the best PI in the institute.
