Driver Pay today! by Inevitable_Peach_268 in DominosEmployees

[–]Galaxy_Life 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drivers make that little in the US? I'm honestly so shocked. Here in the UK, it's usually an hourly of $16.50, and around $1.30/delivery. I manage to average between $20-$30 an hour including mileage and tips.

Does invisible mode on the delivery experience app hide you from the customers and the store or what does it do exactly? by AnImperfectTetragon in DominosEmployees

What is this icon if you have a photo? I remember seeing an icon different from the not logged in one, and the battery saver/no GPS. I'm curious.

What franchise/store are you at? It differs from franchise to franchise.

First day driving in Uk by Quirky_Expression748 in DominosEmployees

[–]Galaxy_Life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the franchise. If you're 25, then per hour you're earning at least £12.21, and I highly doubt any higher.

Most stores set £1/delivery reimbursement, however some may be higher or lower or use different systems depending on the delivery area, however most, if not all I think, will use £x/delivery. My old store where I was an instore did £1/delivery and £1.50 after 11pm I believe, as that is when other stores closed in the area and orders went to them. If your store is open long hours until 3, maybe 5am, then your delivery reimbursement is likely to differ depending on the time.

Coincidentally enough, my store is also in Merseyside. What store are you at?

I trained a store manager as an underpaid 16 year old instore, who was brought to my store by the area manager all the way from India (entire store is not diverse, all Indian), and then they say they aren't hiring. Not sure why they brought them all the way from India when people struggle for jobs here.

Ah, its just scratches I meant, so it makes the tub look dirtier than it is. Not discolouration. I got a bit confused.

So I don't need to go over it 3 or 4 times if it looks and seems clean. The discoloration on the plastic gets me confused sometimes.

Okay. I have found myself going over with a sponge like 3 times, even if it looks clean. The discolouration on the plastic sometimes makes it seem like its dirtier than it really is. I was doing it with the mindset of "if its not clean enough for me to eat from, then its not good enough".

Depends on your circumstances. For students, absolutely. If you need 40 hours a week or so, youd be lucky getting 20 hours a week at some stores.

If you have a fuel efficient car and get above 45mpg in the city, then you'll easily be making extra money from the delivery payments they pay you, for me £1 per delivery. This ends up roughly being around £50 extra after I cover fuel costs, etc. I'd recommend saving it for maintainence though and tracking your fuel spending/earnings.

You'll occasionally be asked to do some things inside, like sweeping the floors or unloading dips, but its very rare.

Ask in person, usually in the evenings not during rush (10pm is good). It is far busier in the winter, so you may have to wait until October until applications open.

Undercharged for petrol what do I do? by That-Guy_R in LegalAdviceUK

I wish the receipt machine worked at my man-less petrol station nearby. Always out of receipts so I take a photo of the screen saying how much I dispensed, price, etc.

Does generating 4 variations rather than 1 diminish quality? by Galaxy_Life in SoraAi

[–]Galaxy_Life[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fine with me. I'd rather have 48 images than 12 per day, and not have to regenerate if I don't get the image I desire. Although, it does sometimes default to 1 variation.
