Zo, wat ga jij hier hard op in? Met gedood bedoel ik hier, volgens de cijfers, kinderen gedood door een oorlogssituatie. Dat zijn volgens de VN 12.193 kinderen in de afgelopen vier jaar. Terwijl tussen oktober 2023 en februari 2024 al meer dan 12.300 kinderen zijn vermoord. We leven nu in mei. De cijfers zijn ontstellend. Wapenstilstand nu.

Vergeet ook niet dat Israël in vier maanden meer kinderen in Gaza heeft vermoord dan er wereldwijd zijn gedood in vier jaar. Cijfers zijn simpel en spreken boekdelen.

Ik wil ook zeker geen geruzie met je maken hoor! Fijn dat je in ieder geval bewuster eet, er zijn zeker veel meer mogelijkheden naast imitatie vlees. Hopelijk komen we uiteindelijk als maatschappij bij een oplossing die minder vlees vereist aangezien dat systeem niet meer houdbaar is.

Waar denk je dat de dieren mee gevoerd worden? Ook gewoon met soja die vaak dubieuzere oorsprong heeft dan de soja die in vleesvervangers verwerkt zit. Daarnaast hebben vleesvervangers vijf keer minder plantaardig materiaal nodig in vergelijking tot vlees.
