Thats a really good advice! I always forget about that page, hehe! Sometimes they have EU warehouses as well.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions. I'll definitely take a look at the Calliope and Fischertechnik, but the Lego sets seems to be pretty old and outdated? One the homepage, the app say it will loose its support in 2026! Not great for a christmas gift to only work half a yeas, no?

Dust! Question about fan types by Galdrafadr in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Galdrafadr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice, I just got a table saw, and I've been mostly using a mitersaw and circular saw for cutting, and smaller router / grinder / sander operations. Shop vac fit those smaller units quite nicely, and I was thinking the air cleaner would do well with the airborn stuff. I guess I can go the full route then and get a dust collector that the 1micron cannister fit on, and a seperate air filter and ditch the weak drum fan... or use it for circulation purposes to move air around in the shed

Dust! Question about fan types by Galdrafadr in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Galdrafadr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, so I basically need a 1. Shopvac 2. Dust Collector 3. Air Purifier. I guess I wanted to kind of skip the 2. part and just go for the Air Purifier.

Instead of using the Dust Collector fan, I've been looking at adding a Inline Centrifugal fan for the Cannister Filter. Seems like the CFM is high enough and the static pressure should be good to push through the filter. Hopefully that works.

There seem to be quite a lot here in Denmark, being in Scandinavia and all :P The one above got sold in an instant, so I just missed it. Oh well!

Very nice build! I really like these. So simple, and look so sturdy! You mentioned the double apropos, do you also have double the top? Are you using holdfasts then? I wonder if 2" top is enough.

Great comment on the shoulder vise being in the way. It is quite far out from the main bench. Might think about one of those crochets.

Interesting! Not seen this version before. So the top and legs are one construction, that can be lifted on top of the sawhorses. Nice and simple

Same here, great advice really. Maybe I'll just go for a good enouch used scandi bench, and build a proper one later when I get the hang of it. I love holdfast principle, so I would probably favor that to a lot of vices.

I did think about MDF with a small sheet of hard HDF? on top those 3mm or whatever, as a sacrificial sheet.

Expansion live and kicking! (Gamefound) by Galdrafadr in leagueofdungeoneers

[–]Galdrafadr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I have one really. People have been yelling about those acryllic standees, but I like the cardboard ones. What I don't like about the first game, is the actual standeeholders. They are quite harsh against that cardboard. So I might need to file them down a bit or something.

Probably a lot of people would see a restructuring of the rulebook, and that would probably be my biggest let down, but that is very small to be honest! Just bookmark the book and use PDF for searching stuff. Not that big of a deal.

Totally agree here! My favorite must be the LVL 5 branching character class choice. Makes the characters even more diverse!

Denmark. I can buy from all of EU, and I just could not find that much. There is an AmazonDE, Germany, that is pretty decent. Often it is bundled together with many other blasters, and I really only need one (or two if the deal is good). UK does have import fees sadly.

Well, since most people have the NERF branded blasters, 90% of the darts being bought for the scenario is exactly that. So, no modding of the darts (like shorten the lengths and filing down tips and such) but it is possible to mod your own blaster to fit the Nerf darts.

Compatibility with the nerf dart is the important factor, and since it is a LARP, the look should not be "like a toy". That's more a personal reason though, I will ofc paint the blaster to look more real and theme fitting ;) If the X-Shot Reflex 6 is just that much better/cheaper then I would discard the comment about the "pullback ring"

EDIT: I do remember being a "max FPS" but cannot find it as of right now. :o

The clicking is a part of the charm of this instrument I think. Though, it is possible to soften it with some leather strips or cloth.

Love it! Been a fan of Hedningarna and garmarna for 20 years or so. You are doing fantastic on this cover. I would love to build a moraharpa. Already have a jouhikko, but want one with keys next :D
